Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
.

Dear Readers 😊
.
I want to thank Ellen Read @ellenreadauthor for recommending this book to me.
.
I loved the story and the way Jane Austen sent me into this era, that I knew nothing about.  The language, the manners, the way they thought.  It was just like being a fly on the wall.
.
I was also mystified by the title, until I reached halfway through this book and discovered why this is.
.
Although I marked down several quotes, this one really stood out to me, it was the last one that I wrote down.

"Hate You!  I was angry perhaps at first, but my anger began to take a proper direction".
.
Swipe through to see some georgous illustration and the synopsis at the end
.
Thank you again Ellen, for recommending this book to me, I so much appreciate it.
.
Happy Reading 😊

Bloom by Estee Lalonde

Dear Reader 😊

From time to time, throughout the years, I have followed Estee Lalonde vlogging channel on you tube.  When Estee announced  she was bringing out a book, I took an immediate interest.

Estee shows in her book, Bloom, some beautiful authentic photographs of herself, family, friends, beauty products and food.

Like any memoir, Estee tells her life going through where she lived, experiences at school, sports, fashion, how she meet her long term partner, Aslan, and even includes favourite recipes.

I found Bloom, a very light, factual book, which for me, was a great book to pick up and easily put down through the holiday period.

Happy reading 😊

Esme's Wish by Elizabeth Foster

Genre - Fiction/Fantasy/YA

I thoroughly enjoyed this imaginative book about a girl aged 15, Esme, whom literally swims into another world to find out what happened to her Mum that disappeared some years ago (thought drowned by some). This was actually triggered when Esme's Dad remarried, which is actually the introduction and beginning of the book.

Readers, if you want to escape to a world of dragons, Stygians and find out what magical gifts that Esme and her friends find and have and whether Esme finds the clues to her mother's disappearance, then this one is for you.
