Unexplained - Higher Elevation Series, Book One.

By Renee Regent.
.
This book was my personal choice, I was not influenced by any book recommendation and I picked this book due to the synopsis, of which the first part is included here.
.
A skeptical reporter who witnesses the unbelievable…
It’s the late 1970’s, and tenacious journalism student Sarah McKenn doesn’t believe the rumors of strange happenings in her small college town of Fort Winston, Colorado. But a supernatural event she experiences while chasing down a story for her school's newspaper leaves her questioning everything. In her quest for understanding, she meets and falls for Chris, the only man she believes can help her unravel the truth.
.
On the back of part of this synopsis I was intrigued further to buy the book from Amazon.com. This book is part of a series, total of 3.
.
The story mainly consisted around the dynamics between Chris and Sarah, but Renee Regent has a beautiful gentle style of leading us up to certain twists and turns in the book that really suits this type of storyline. Renee Regent is a romance writer and boy, does she know how to deliver!!!!! Teasing and titillating, she has quite a style that will make any mature lady weak at the knees, believe me, forget about the, been there, done that, got the T-shirt!!! If you are an author stuck for how to do sex scenes I would definately recommend communicating with this author!!. Although this was part of the story, the mystery of the supernatural event that took place didn't go unnoticed and I felt this was very well executed, I didn't feel it was too slow, I felt it had a balance of pace that leads up to each event, easily and naturally.
.
This book comes highly recommended by me and I certainly will be reading more of Renee Regents books, I will take this opportunity now to thank Renee Regent for such a delightful book, a very entertaining one, at that.

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

Book Review on The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
.

While in Paris, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is awakened by a phone call in the dead of the night. The elderly curator of the Louvre has been murdered inside the museum, his body covered in baffling symbols. As Langdon and gifted French cryptologist Sophie Neveu sort through the bizarre riddles, they are stunned to discover a trail of clues hidden in the works of Leonardo da Vinci—clues visible for all to see and yet ingeniously disguised by the painter.
.
This book kept me entertained, I found it gripping and intoxicating.
.
I was intrigued by Dan Brown's writing, his imagination and how it conjured up such amazing chain of events, how they take place and the actual "thinking" in this book is absolutely phenomenal..... "For a moment, he thought he heard a woman's voice....the wisdom of the ages....whispering up from the chasms of the earth" ....now how's that for a climactic ending!!!!! 😍
.
I highly recommend The Da Vinci Code to readers who love thrillers, love the mystery of not knowing what comes next, like gripping books, like cracking codes and riddles, like chase on chase books, like books that leads you to places of interest. In this book the settings are in France (Paris - Chateau in Condecort) UK (London - Westminster Abbey) Scotland (outside Edinburgh - Rosslyn Chapel)
.
I want to thank Dan Brown for an exceptional extraordinary book and I would like to mention (Instagram) @ellenreadauthor, @dreamless.eternity, @__scherbatsky_ @a_h_amin, @stevegriffin40, @susanholtstoryteller for the recommendation.

What Your Soul Already Knows by Dr Salma Farook

What Your Soul Already Knows
by Dr Salma Farook

I was given this Ebook, What Your Soul Already Knows by Dr Salma Farook @salma.farook in exchange for an honest review.
.
From Authors Notes "We started with reconnecting with the inner child in ourselves and the benefits of feeling lost. We trekked through different aspects of positive living ranging from forgiveness to resilience and cumulatively landed on setting concrete life goals".
.
This little self help book is remarkably well set out. The author, herself, has stuck to a universal language that I feel even YA's can pick up and not get confused on. Although it draws on her own experiences, you could identify the situations with your own and agree upon them.
.
A very chatty, friendly 98 pages. The chapters had a good feel to them. Each chapter set out where you could ponder and genuflect at the end. I took this in small doses because of this. I have read self help books before and you always hear the same messages and they conclude the same thing. It's always positive to reinforce something you already know.
.
This comes highly recommended by me. It will suit anyone who needs a bit of an uplift, to anyone who wants to reinforce what they already know, for inspiration of any kind, to achieve life goals, to grow more confident and for anyone who wants to be more of a self balanced individual.
.
Well done Salma Farook.

Symbiote by Daccari Buchelli

Symbiote by Daccari Buchelli

I was given this Ebook, in exchange for an honest review. This is book 2 of The Peradon Fantasy.
.
Picking up 5 years later - Peradon - once a land that was, now split into 4 realms - earth, flame, air and frost.
.
Violetta (her highness) has a secret love, Xyhoni, but they are seen together, so they cannot reveal their true love.
.
Violetta has a daughter, Elinor, who wants to know who her real father is. Violetta won't tell Elinor.
.
Elinor is kidnapped and all that was found was a parchment which said, to give up her throne in exchange for Elinor.
.
Jork (the air lord), Xyhoni and Violetta start out on a very incredible adventure to find Elinor.
.
This is just touching on the tip of the story here, as this book was full on. I felt like I had been dropped into a virtual video game, it was so gripping and literally, out of this world. I was almost falling off the couch with so much activity.
.
I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fantasy, loves a whole heap of action, who loves fast action paced books, who loves fast forward x 2 (hyperspeed). I wouldn't recommend the sensitive typed person to read this as a night time relaxing read, keep it for during the day, or, where you need to stay up all night, as this will take you there!!!
.
I want to thank Daccari Buchelli for a beautiful, dark fantasy read, beautifully written, high intensity and I'm not in the habit of giving 5 stars, (which I have done in this case) due to the fact, that, I mark really, really hard, so those who find 5 stars, really have worked for it. Well done.
